Pure Barre Sales Manager Expectations:
- Manage a team of client coordinators
- Communicate goals for memberships, retail, and attrition to the team
- Figure out a plan for meeting the goals
- Sell studio memberships
- Actively make calls, complete tasks and lead by example
- Be present for engage intro classes
- Manage and follow up on membership retention program
- Lead generation including attending grassroots marketing, networking events, social media mining
- Implement sales process to schedule prospects into Engage classes and convert them to memberships after
- Manage New Member Challenge experience
- Train the team on the retail brands available in the studio- help create events that support retail sales
- Connect with brand reps to upsell their retail
- Manage memberships in studio CRM Platform
- Ensure Daily Barre Routine checklist and LASER is executed
- Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
- Review all SOPs from Pure Barre Corporate Sales team
- Communicate SOP + weekly scripts to Client coordinators monthly and as needed
- Rearrange the retail space weekly
- Review and communicate all application SOPs from management
- Review direct reports on a 30,60,90 day basis and then quarterly after
- Empower team to grow and figure out how we can develop them as a company
- Meet with Lead Teacher 1x/month
- Attend all National Sales calls (or watch the recording within 24 hours) and communicate key takeaways
- Attend all Marketing calls (or watch the recording within 24 hours)
- Meet with the digital marketing vendor monthly to ensure the marketing is the best for the studio and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with other studios on best practices
- Develop in studio events based on management goals for the quarter and month
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness of the studio and make sure the rest of the team meets the high standard
- Develop community partnerships
- Communicate inventory levels at the studio to Executive Assistant weekly
- Take a minimum of 2 classes/ week (4 recommended) for membership interaction
- Send Monday Update emails to the entire team
- Must be willing to work a variety of hours to ensure maximum exposure to the membership base and be there a peak sales times for new memberships
- Point of contact for all client coordinator questions and potentially teacher clubready questions
- Responsible for the studio sales schedule, best maximizing time spent completing tasks and giving clients a first class experience
- Review designated review platform, address any and all negative reviews/ needs and work to better them; individually reach out and say thank you for positive reviews
- Gain referral leads (30 referrals/ month is the goal set by Corporate)
- Manage all membership cancellations, downgrades, and freezes
- Assist in recruiting and hiring client coordinators as needed- keep the pipeline full
- Regularly update living document containing sales associate information: staff birthdays, phone, email, tiktok, insta handles, etc.
- Recognize and celebrate staff birthdays
- Develop member retention events and processes in conjunction with the lead teacher and management i.e. goal setting sessions, supper clubs, book clubs, etc.
- Maintain the company mission statement and core values at all times and ensure your team does as well; the Sales Manger is the face of the studio
- 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
- Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Representatives
- Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail sales
- Previous management or supervisory experience required
- Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
- Must be solution-based and results oriented, competitive spirit
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
- An affinity and passion for fitness
- Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
